Handwritten letters by Tony Fomison, Ralph Hotere and Colin McCahon sent to the Robert McDougall Art Gallery in connection with the exhibition 'Christchurch Arts Festival International of Drawings' held at the Gallery 3 March - 1 April 1978. Fomison queries the return of the drawing he submitted, McCahon declines to submit an entry, Hotere describes his submission 'Drawing (KO WAI KOE?)' which won the competition.

Photocopied, detailed account of the emigration and settlement of William and Agnes Parr and their six sons and daughters in New Zealand, first in Christchurch then ultimately in Timaru, where they set up a mill. The typescript copy includes maps, photographs, letters, sketches, genealogical tables and an account of the gathering together of all four branches of the family in 1992. There is also a history of the family name and ancestry in England.
