 Organization

Biography

The company's head office was in Christchurch, and the gold fields were by the Mahakipawa Stream, near Linkwater, Marlborough. The Mahakipawa Goldfields Ltd sank a shaft, with a significant headframe, on the lower reaches of the Cullen Creek between 1924 to 1928, on what is now flat pasture land. These goldfields were worked until the 1930s.
