The New Zealand Shipping Company was a shipping company which ran passenger and cargo services between Great Britain and New Zealand between 1873 and 1973. The company was absorbed into the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company (P&O) in 1973.

Photocopy of a New Zealand Shipping Company Embarkation notice to passengers on the R.M.S. Wakanui. The notice has names of passengers, including three members of the Kingsland family, written at the top.

The Wakanui was leaving from Gravesend. The passenger names are John Lewis and Edith Russell Kingsland, and their daughter, Edith Henrietta Goodson?/Kingsland.
