Biography

Prior to 2016, the functions of civic and international relations were part of the Public Affairs Group and speficially the City Promotions team within the Marketing Unit.

In 2016, with a restructure which saw the Marketing Unit split between different Groups, Civic and International Relations became its own Unit with the Office of the Chief Executive.

Civic and International Relations manages civic and ceremonial events including Citizenship Ceremonies, visiting dignitaries and key civic events such as those for ANZAC Day. The Unit also manages relationships with Sister Cities.
