Biography
The Coastal Burwood Community Board was formed in 2016 after the ward boundary changes following the 2016 local elections. It had previously been the Burwood Pegasus Community Board (1989-2016). Boundary changes saw the Pegasus Ward becoming part of the Burwood Ward and the newly established Coastal Ward. In 2022 the Coastal Burwood Community Board became the Waitai Coastal Burwood Linwood Community Board following the local elections when the Linwood Ward (of the Linwood Central Heathcote Community Board 2016-2022).
