Biography
The Linwood Central Heathcote Community Board was formed in 2016 following the local elections and subsequent boundary changes. From the former Hagley Ferrymead Community Board the Hagley ward become the Central Ward while the Ferrymead ward was split between the new Central, Heathcote and Linwood wards. The Heathcote ward also joined from the Spreydon Heathcote Community Board. Following the 2022 local elections the Linwood Central Heathcote Community Board was split between the Waipapa Papanui Innes Central Community Board (Central Ward), the Spreydon Cashmere Heathcote Community Board (Heathcote Ward) and the Waitai Coastal Burwood Linwood Community Board (Linwood Ward).
