Biography

In 2017, ChristchurchNZ is formed by the merger of Christchurch & Canterbury Tourism (CCT), Canterbury Development Corporation (CDC), International Education, the Convention Bureau and the Christchurch City Council Events team. City Promotions and events then became part of this new entity.

ChristchurchNZ is responsibe for promoting the city to residents, national and internationa visitors both from a business and a tourism perspective.

ChristchurchNZ is fully owned by the Christchurch City Council, and is a Council Controlled Organisation.
