Biography

In 1996 a new Christchurch City Council structure was put in place which saw the Office of the City Manager no longer be part of any Group, but as a separate office with the Group managers reporting into it.

In 2004, the role of the City Manager was renamed to the Chief Executive Officer. The Chief Executive was part of the newly created Executive Office which also included the managers of all the Groups.
