Biography

In 1927 the Abattoir, Reserves and Milk Committee was created from the former Abbatoir, Cemeteries and Reserves Committee. The introduction of Milk into the committee was to, as per the City of Christchurch Yearbook from 1927-28 - To carry out an extensive survey of the Milk Supply to the City of Christchurch.

Despite the title management of Cemeteries and Markets remained in this committee.
