Biography
At the start of 1987 the former Cultural and Public Relations Committee becomes the Cultural and Community Services Committee. The remit of the Committee changes slightly to continue responsibility for Libraries and the Art Gallery but expands to include city health, dog registration, clean air programmes and cultural events. In 1989 the Committee becomes the Cultural and Social Services Committee.
