Christchurch City Council. Airport Committee (1986-1988)
Biography
In 1986 the Airport and Electricity Committee splits into the Airport Committee responsible solely for administration of Christchurch Airport and the Public Utilities Committee which took responsibility for the Municipal Electricity Department, carparking and housing. In 1988 the Airport Committee ceased as the Christchurch Airport Company resumed responsibility for the airport. Liaison with the company became part of the Property and Promotions Committee.
