Biography

The Altrusa International organisation was founded in Tennessee in 1917, and New Zealand's first clubs were formed in 1966. The club is a non-profit organisation originally set up for professional and business women, with a strong focus on supporting community services. The Altrusa Club of Christchurch was founded in 1966, and in 1992 it changed to its present name
