Biography
Five branches of this family, from Cumnor, Berkshire, emigrated to New Zealand at different times. The first to arrive was George Innes, a carpenter, in 1851. His brother, Alfred George Innes, also a carpenter, was an early settler in St. Albans. Eleanor's married name was Cox; it was her son Charles Henry Cox who came out to Canterbury. Hannah's married name was Greenaway.
