C.C. Taylor (Jack) married Iris M. Gumbley in 1923. They had four sons, R.C. Taylor, J.O. Taylor, S.W. Taylor and P.W. Taylor. Jack was in service with the New Zealand Rifle Brigade during the Great War, 1914-1918
