Biography
George Wilburt and Susan Kerridge (née Searle) were married in 1855 and settled in the suburb of Englefield. Carol Cornish's (née Chappell) mother was Lina Kerridge. Carol grew up in Sydenham and married Thiers Ernest Cornish (1911-1981). Thiers worked as a shipwright in Lyttelton. Carol moved to Governor's Bay when they separated.
