Biography

Patrick Burke was a well know Christchurch caterer. His company catered for events at Addington Raceway, Canterbury Saleyards and the Winter Garden. In 1904 he became proprietor of the Bush Inn Hotel. In January 1908 P. Burke & Co. Ltd was established with Mr Burke as Chairman, and in February of that year the Company took over the lease of the Bush Inn Hotel.
