Biography
Benjamin Perry, hotelkeeper, ran the Empire Hotel in Oamaru from about 1903-1906, then built up the Occidental Hotel in Christchurch. His son, born in Oamaru, was also Benjamin and also an hotelkeeper. It seems he took over the Occidental after his father's death.
