Biography
Mr Tsakos was born in the Crimea in 1905, experienced hardship and near starvation through the Russian Revolution and under Lenin, joined the Russian army in 1941, was taken prisoner by the Germans. He spent some time in Greece before going to New Zealand. He reached New Zealand in May 1951.
