Biography
Bill Brittenden was a Christchurch teacher, historian, writer and city councillor. He was educated at Christchurch Boys' High School, and wrote a short history for its 75th anniversary. He was the first headmaster of Aranui High School, where Keri (then Kerry) Hulme was his pupil.
