Biography
Edward Wilson was born in Lancashire in 1836, and arrived in Canterbury in 1852. He settled first in St. Albans, but soon moved to Church Bush, Camside, Kaiapoi, where he farmed for 35 years. In 1883 he married. They sold the farm in 1892, and moved to 96 acres at Ohoka.

Photocopies of typed transcript of eight letters from Edward Wilson, Camside, Kaiapoi, to his cousin John Tyson in Missouri, and three other family letters, 1879-1897 and 1950. Also includes two of the other letters are from G. Graham, Fairhall, Blenheim to John Tyson (1881 and 1883), and a 1950 letter from Annie Tyson in Missouri to her cousin May.
