Henry Hearfield was a Christchurch tailor, born in Manchester. He married Addington-born Elizabeth Woods in 1888, at St Mary's Church,Addington, and they had eight children. The 1903 family group photograph in this collection was taken outside their house at 25 Spencer Street, Addington.
