Biography
Mr. Leslie Piper began at Sydenham School as a five year old in 1913, and maintained his links with the school throughout various jubilees and reunions. He belonged to a group of men, Standard Six in 1921, who after a 1961 reunion continued to meet every year until at least 1991.
He married Wilhelmina Lawson Japp on 3 February 1940.

Scope and Contents
The papers compiled by Leslie Walter Piper includes programmes, table napkins, photographs, press clippings and papers of The Independent Order of Odd Fellows' 1928-1948.
Also includes a wedding headdress belonging to Leslie's wife Mina (full name Wilhelmina Lawson Piper nee Japp), photographs from their wedding on 3 February 1940, and papers relating to Sydenham and Sydenham School.
