Biography
Henry Forwood arrived in Lyttelton in 1879 on the Red Gauntlet. In 1880 he married Susannah Jane Foote at St. Mary's, Merivale. They had one daughter, Elizabeth Sophia (Bessie) who was born in 1880. In 1900 she married John Duncan (Jack) Buchanan at St. Matthew's Church, St. Albans.
