Biography
Harold Beck was a New Zealand cellist. He and his brother the violinist Haydn Beck were talented musicians and performed from a young age, touring New Zealand and Australia together. The boys were trained by their father James Laurian Beck who taught violin, cello and musical theory from his premises named Harmony Hall in Bell St, Wanganui.
