Hewland, Robyn, Dr.
Biography
Dr. Robyn Hewland was born to schoolteacher, lecturer and councillor John Leonard Henry Hewland and medical clinic receptionist Helen May nee Stephens at London. Robyn a medical practicioner and psychiatrist, she was consultant psychiatrist at Sunnyside Hospital before she moved to Australia. She specialised in the mental health of children and worked at Kingslea Girls' Home, ACC, Ngāi Tahu and DSW. In 1964 Robyn married farmer Richard Dudley Willis, they divorced in 1971.
