Biography

In November 1874 William Andrews sailed on the Somersetshire from Plymouth to Melbourne. In January 1875 he left Melbourne on the Otago for Bluff. While there he travelled by train to Invercargill, then sailed to Port Chalmers, (visiting Dunedin by train). He then sailed from Port Chalmers to Lyttelton. On February 6th. he travelled by train through the tunnel to Christchurch.
