Biography

Charlotte was born to William Henry Teape and school teacher Sarah Jane nee Grills at Ashburton. William was a general labourer, police and Royal Irish Constabulary. Charlotte was a shorthand - typist who works mostly in Christchurch. In 1956 she married archivist and museum director John Crum Wilson.
