Biography
David was born to orchardist Norman John Langford and Eileen Isabel nee Paynter at Richmond, Nelson. He was a medical practitioner who set up an after-hours surgery in Christchurch, the first in New Zealand. In 1975 David married medical practitioner Jennifer May nee Berryman.

Cassettes containing oral histories, predominantly of women connected to Canterbury University. The initial project was set up by the Canterbury Branch of the New Zealand Federation of University Women in 1989.
