Biography
Barry was born to nurse Madge Shields and Garnet Ferguson McKissock at Dunedin. He was a bank teller and a fire brigades man. In 1964 Barry married machinist Katie Bernadette nee Lemalu and in 1980 he married Secretary Alison Jane nee Thomson.

Cassettes containing oral histories, predominantly of women connected to Canterbury University. The initial project was set up by the Canterbury Branch of the New Zealand Federation of University Women in 1989.
