Biography
Catharina was born to estate agent Paulus Petrus Janus and Catharina Wilhelmina nee Vendel at Amsterdam. She lived through the German occupation of the Netherlands and eloped to New Zealand where she set up a printing press. In 1952 Catharina married printer Antoon Emile Jozef Arts.

Cassettes containing oral histories, predominantly of women connected to Canterbury University. The initial project was set up by the Canterbury Branch of the New Zealand Federation of University Women in 1989.
