Biography

George Cooper sailed to Lyttelton on board the Ruahine on 26 April 1955. While visiting New Zealand, he spent time with the Hardy family in Chrischurch and visited Pleasant Point, the West Coast, Mt Cook, Hanmer Springs, Akaroa and Timaru. The return voyage to England was via Australia, India, Suez and France, arrivng home on 1 September 1955.

Photocopy of handwritten diary titled Diary of a New Zealand trip by George Cooper.
