Biography

George Worthington was appointed Drama Tutor for the Association for Country Education in 1936. He continued this work when it came under the control of the Adult Education Department of Canterbury University College in 1940. In 1964, the year George Worthington retired, the Adult Education Department became the Department of Extension Studies.
