Content Description
A photo album belonging to Hugo Newport Dane Stephens (3 Jan 1911- 1993) contains photographs taken in the main on sheep farming properties most of which are in the Canterbury region between 1929 and c1933.
The properties featured are: Barrosa, Mt Somers; Stron Schrubie; Glenaray Station; Four Peaks;
Moihau. Also photos of: Temoana Gorge; Devil’s Creek Hut; Lake Heron; Clent Hills Hut; Otago;
Mount Possession; Auckland harbour; SS Ruahine; Pitcairn and others.
