Computer print-out of a draft copy of the history of the Macfarlane family titled From Arrochar to Canterbury : some links in a three hundred year old chain, covering a period of approximately 300 years, compiled by James V. Macfarlane.
The family came from Arrochar in Scotland and arrived in New Zealand in 1840. A map of the Trossachs area of Scotland is included. Includes notes about John Macfarlane, 1817-1884, and his wife, Catherine Cameron and their family at Coldstream, Rangiora, Canterbury.
