Correspondence and minute books from various businesses owned by the Brown family, Including Bituminous Roofing Products Ltd, Fraser-Brown and Stratmore, R.B. Higgs, Metal Service Centre and Mactrac International.

- Minute book for Bituminous Roofing Products Ltd, part of Tetral Industries, from 12 June 1939 to 23 July 1953. Includes agendas and notes.
- Bundle of old foolscap and quattro sheets held together by string and about 50mm thick. They are mostly letters, orders for products, telegrams, general conversations about the running of a business.
- Minute book for R.B. Higgs.
- Minute book for Metal Service Centre.
- Minute book for Mactrac International.

Biographical / Historical
Bituminous Roofing Products Ltd was a Christchurch company founded in 1939, it was eventually amalgamated into Tetral Industries Ltd along with R.B. Higgs Ltd., Mac Trac and Aluminium Supplies. Tetral and another Christchurch business, Brown and Andrews, were owned by Ken Brown and later his son Lewis Brown.
