Content Description

Two black and white World War One photographs, mounted. Both feature army personnel posed in front of the Christchurch Government Buildings. The mounting boards of both images are stamped Steffano Webb, Christchurch.

Photo One: 15 men in uniform in two rows, the first row is seated on chairs and holding canes. Named on reverse, there is one name less than the number of figures in the back row. Back row: Lieut Wood, MacDonald, Brammal, Capt McGee, Lieut Sulman[?] Front row: Capt Robertson, Major Leeming, Col Hogg, Col Chaffey, Major Mathews, Capt White, Lieut Alex[?].

Photo Two: 48 men in uniform in four rows. one row of women in light coloured dresses siting on the ground in the front row.
