Photograph album compiled by L.S. Payne, Waitaki Project hydroelectrical engineer, covering the construction of the Waitaki hydro-electric power plant; photographs taken between May 1929 and February 1933. These photographs, which cover the construction of the power plant, are numbered, dated and identified.
"L.S. Payne" is written inside front cover, in the same hand as the annotations to the photographs.
