Records of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (N.Z.) including correspondence, minutes, reports, pamphlets and press clippings. The records include papers from branches as well as the main body which was mostly based in Christchurch. There are also papers of Youth C.N.D. and of other peace and anti-nuclear bodies.

Biographical / Historical
The Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (N.Z.) was established in 1958 with it's headquarters largely based in Christchurch. The group existed to promote world nuclear disarmament, for a nuclear free zone in the South Pacific and for the adoption of a Non aligned foreign policy.
