The papers of the Annett family includes a map; land purchase documents; poster; souvenir booklets and typescript of a newspaper article.
The 1918 map shows farms in Cargans, Co. Armagh, belonging to David and Andrew Annett. The land purchase documents, 1892 and 1898, record William Annett's purchase of land in Hinds, South Canterbury.
There are souvenir booklets of Hinds School jubilees, 1951 and 1956, and one of St. Andrew's Church, Tinwald, 1929. A poster, 1914, announces the third annual sports meeting of the Hinds Athletic Club.
There is a copy of an article from the Ashburton Guardian, 1951, called Hinds District; early days recalled, with quotes from an old local resident, Mr. Albert Annett.
