The archive of the Christchurch Star has been retained, as far as possible, in the original order as used and managed by the Christchurch Star Librarian. However, as this was an actively used photographic library for the Christchurch Star at the time of the earthquake and it was later retrieved from their earthquake damaged offices in Central Christchurch, parts of the original collection may be incomplete.
