Scope and Contents
Bound photocopies of a manuscript titled History of Lyttelton by Norman Meikle.
Includes a hand-drawn map of the west end of Lyttelton Harbour, 1892, with a detailed key to the boats, buildings etc. Mr. Ian Treleaven, Norman Meikle's nephew, gave Terry Byles this manuscript to transcribe.
Also includes a photocopy of an obituary for Mr. Ian Treleaven, Norman Meikle's nephew, from The Press, April 10. Mr Treleaven wrote a history of the Banks Peninsula Cruising Club, and co-edited Cruising Banks Peninsula.
