George Widdup papers
Scope and Contents
The papers of George Widdup largely relate to Cheviot Hills Station and Cheviot district and are typescript carbon copies of originals in bound volumes.
Vols. 1 and 3 and part of v. 2 contain William Gerard's diaries (extracts) kept at Cheviot Hills Station, 1858-1873. Vol. 2 contains letters (1926-1928) to George Widdup concerning Cheviot history, including Gore Bay, as well as some church history of the area, and historical notes written by George Widdup.
