Scope and Contents

The records of the Pegasus Peace and Environmental Group includes correspondence, minutes, accounts and articles. Correspondence and photocopied articles cover important political and environmental issues from 1986-1996 such as nuclear weapons, disarmament, land mines, the establishment of Travis Wetland and local environmental issues. Includes the constitution of the Environment and Peace Information Centre (Epicentre).

Includes an article titled High time to outlaw nuclear weapons: an appeal to the people of New Zealand/ Aotearoa by Harold James Evans and Nuclear-Free: journal of the New Zealand Nuclear-Free Peacemaking Association.
