Between the 1930s and the 1980s, husband and wife Harry Vye Miller and Vesper Miller received greetings cards from a large number of New Zealand artists. These were assembled into two scrapbooks which were acquired by the Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū in 2024. The cards were removed from the scrapbooks and a selection was added to the Gallery's art collection. This collection contains the cards that were not so added, the scrapbooks themselves with many marginal notes and ephemeral material pasted in and a photographic record of the scrapbooks before they were dismantled.
