The majority of the Barbadoes Street Cemetery material held by Christchurch City Council Archives relates to the Church of England section of the Cemetery.
Records for the Catholic Section of the Cemetery prior to 1917 were destroyed in a fire in 1903 so have not survived. See The Barbadoes Street Cemetery by Les Dew at CCC/ARC/S83/1/7 for more information.
