Christchurch City Council: Our City Records and Collected Artefacts
Scope and Contents
Records relating the planning, delivery and promotion of significant events and exhibitions held by Our City. Includes some items collected by Our City for exhibitions as well as reminiscences of local people collected as part of research for exhibition content. Includes some object entry form and oral history permission forms. Some of this material is on CD, cassette tape and floppy disc.
Artefacts do not all relate to Our City but include a Christchurch Drainage Board seal, large framed pictures and Christchurch City Council branded china.
Includes some digital photographs of items which were unable to be removed from the Christchurch City Council Pages Road site where this series was located. Includes photographs of the photography process.

Custodial History
All of the items in this series were found during the sorting of the Christchurch City Council Pages Road site. All material that related to the operational activities of Our City as well as reasonably sized and Council relevant artefacts were removed by the Christchurch City Council Archivists in 2023.
All material was fumigated and any items that were unable to be removed, largely due to their size, were photographed courtesy of Christchurch Art Gallery photographer John Collie.
