Content Description
Cards, letters, artworks and other material created and sent to the Mayor’s Office of Christchurch City Council following the Canterbury Earthquakes to express condolences and show support to the City in 2010-2011.
Many of the items are handwritten letters and cards from school children and community groups from New Zealand, and overseas. Items are variously addressed to City of Christchurch, Civic Defence, or the Mayor, Bob Parker.

This material was reassessed following contact from Libraries in October 2023 and as a result was deaccessioned from the Libraries collections and accessioned into the Christchurch City Council Archives.
