Crewe murder scrapbooks
Scrapbooks of newspaper clippings, compiled by John Allison, relating to the Christchurch crime, the Crewe murders. Jeanette and Harvey Crewe were murdered in their Pukekawa farmhouse in 1970. Arthur Allan Thomas was imprisoned for their murder, but later acquitted after a retrial. These newspaper clippings follow the press representation of the murder, the trial and retrial.
