Photocopy of handwritten diary titled Diary of a New Zealand trip by George Cooper. Includes details of his voyage to Lyttelton on the Ruahine on 26 April 1955 as well as time spent with the Hardy family in Chrischurch and visits to Pleasant Point, the West Coast, Mt Cook, Hanmer Springs, Akaroa and Timaru. The return voyage to England was via Australia, India, Suez and France, arrivng home on 1 September 1955.

Also includes a photocopied newspaper clipping.
