Mabel Irene Tarpey collection

Content Description

Material belonging to Mabel Tarpey during her time as a nurse in World War Two. The collection includes two bound volumes of letters home up to 1942, one diary from 1944, three photo albums, a Solders service book, a bag from Egypt which was used to hold her badges and other bits she picked up in Egypt, an Army issue sun bonnet, and other items.
